Criticisms

[edit]

Would the person who added the criticisms at the head of the article please defend 1) what may be confusing or unclear to some readers and 2) why I might have a conflict of interest? JJ (talk) 19:17, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • I do apologise, that does appear to be myself, although I have no recollection of adding the tags in question... strange. In any case, I've removed the tags. They were seemingly unfounded. As for the others, I've let them stand, simply as they are relevant. Also, they do tend to alert other users to potential problems with the page, encouraging collaborative working IE finding sources, re-writing sections, etc. I will try to work on the article when I have some spare time, however the weekend has been rather hectic, and my internet connection keeps dropping off... *sigh*. Nevertheless, I will try to find some sources and rewrite the article in the very near future. Again, I do apologise for the errors. Robotnick2 Messages? 22:52, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    • I appreciate your willingness to eliminate unfounded comments. I also appreciate your willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and get to work on this article. That indicates to me that you want to be part of the solution and not just part of the problem. Thanks.JJ (talk) 15:18, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
      • I've placed the article on a subpage of my userspace, and have made some quick edits to it today. Hopefully it can be improved further (Do feel free to edit it as you wish). I am, however, having trouble finding 3rd party sources... all the references I have are from the society's website itself, and a quick Google turned up almost nothing of interest. I will, however, keep trying :-) Robotnick2 Messages? 17:21, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Architecture

[edit]

It would be nice to include some discussion of the society's historic building. Who designed it? What style? Etc. FloridaArmy (talk) 01:26, 15 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
