Is this page really necessary? Is the townland not the same as the "Newtown, County Tipperary" already in existance? Laurel Lodged (talk) 21:04, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have separated the three Townlands located in the historical Barony of Ormond Lower. They now have a separate page each, ‘Newtown (Guest)’, ‘Newtown (Hodgins)’ and ‘Newtown, Ormond Lower.’ This helps bring them in line with many of the other townlands of Ireland. To avoid any confusion with Newtown, the settlement located in the Barony of Owney and Arra I have made a disambiguation note on the 'Newtown, County Tipperary' page.
