Redundancy with tambon article

Technically the tambon (provincial administration) and SAO/municipalities (local administration) are overlapping but different entities, but Wikipedia doesn't usually have separate pages for both. I'm not sure readers are better served by having this as a separate article from the one about the tambon, which exists at Nong Bua, Chiang Mai. Both could be covered in the same article with separate sections describing the tambon and the municipality. --Paul_012 (talk) 14:10, 30 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Also, you have not read the administrative jurisdiction of the Nong Bua Subdistrict Municipality. The Nong Bua Subdistrict Municipality does not cover the entire area of Nong Bua Subdistrict. Pardon me for saying this, but I'm not sure your English proficiency is adequate for collaboratively editing on the English Wikipedia. I'll try to explain what I said above in Thai, but on Enwiki editors are expected to be able to understand communication in English.

I understand the point you are making. I have yet to see an article that clearly explains both aspects on the same page.

For instance, let's consider the example of Ban Mae Kha Subdistrict Municipality (เทศบาลตำบลบ้านแม่ข่า), Mae Kha Subdistrict Municipality (เทศบาลตำบลแม่ข่า), and Mae Kha Subdistrict (ตำบลแม่ข่า). Although all these entities are situated within Mae Kha Subdistrict, Fang District (ตำบลแม่ข่า อำเภอฝาง), they have different roles and functions. Shalom503 (talk) 15:23, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the late reply. Your point is noted, though I don't really have anything to add right now.
