Issues of North-South Motorway (T2T South Road lowered motorway)

[edit]

T2T (Torrens Road to River Torrens) lowered motorway has been opened to traffic at 29 September 2018. The new motorway has included into a part of North-South Motorway. How should we edit this article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mirai1993 (talkcontribs) 16:26, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information:
North-South Motorway (South Road Superway): opened in 2014
North-South Motorway (Regency Road to Pym Street): Funded
North-South Motorway (Torrens Road to River Torrens): opened in 2018

I see your point. Right now, the scope of the "North-South Motorway" appears to be everything from the Port River Expressway to the Torrens River. It is unclear whether the Northern Connector will be classified as a part of this or a part of the Northern Expressway. In this light, I'll try to update the article. The northbound entrance to the Torrens River to Torrens Road upgrade of the North South Motorway (Adelaide), two days after it opened for traffic.
In the lowered motorway of the North-South Motorway in Adelaide, two days after the Torrens to Torrens section opened to traffic. This photo is southbound, showing the Port Road bridge
This is the part of the bridge from South Road to Ayliffes Road that was built on the median strip and moved into to place using multi-wheeled lifters. The rest of the bridge will be built the "conventional way". Part of the Darlington Upgrade.
The two new bridges for carrying South Road over the Southern Expressway as part of the Darlington Upgrade of the North-South Corridor. They were built off-site the transported into position in one weekend
Ultimately, we probably will want to merge (then possibly split, but in different ways) a set of articles including:
I have uploaded a few photos I intended to add to the articles, but it's too late tonight to work out where they will best fit. The first one shows the sign calls it North-South Motorway, second is inside the trench. The other two are the best I managed of the bridges at Darlington, but none are brilliant pictures from a moving car without thinking to clean the window first. --Scott Davis Talk 15:14, 2 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Someone made an edit comment about route numbers 2 and 20. The Sturt Highway is National A20 to Gawler, then (state) A20 continues on Gawler Bypass and Main North Road (which had been A53 for a few years but has reverted back to A20). The Northern Expressway, South Road Superway, T2T and Southern Expressway are all M2, with bits of A2 between them and the parallel surface road is not numbered. South Road is only A13 south of Darlington now. The Northern Expressway was originally M20 (while MNR was A53) but changed to M2 early last year I think.[1] (It looks like the data gets updated without the last-changed date on the metadata staying in sync) Salisbury Highway has also had number changes to become continuous with Port River Expressway (Port Adelaide to Elizabeth Vale A9) instead of with South Road. --Scott Davis Talk 05:01, 3 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In this article, there are many repetitions. It could be shortened perhaps?150.101.100.140 (talk) 01:56, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
