Move[edit]

SrpskiAnonimac, what are the reasons for moving this page from Novgorod Land to Novgorodian Land? The former is much more widely used in Google books (3000 vs 800 hits). Btw we also have Pskov Land. Alaexis¿question? 07:17, 11 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Population section[edit]

This part of the Population section includes ancient and medieval accounts of the peoples living within the modern borders of Russia. It's not about the Novgorod land and therefore does not belong here.

I suggest to remove it from this article and possibly incorporate it into the History of Russia article. Alaexis¿question? 21:19, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Alaexis: Well, it's history of Novgorod Land, not the Republic. I think that it is more than suitable here. MarcusTraianus (talk) 06:49, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but the sources do not say that they lived in the (future) Novgorod Land. For some of them we know for sure they didn't (Alans, Mordva, Merya etc). Alaexis¿question? 18:11, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
