Are obleas the same as oplatky?

The picture shows Czech oplatky. Are they the same thing as obleas? Exactly the same or just similar? If so why doesn't the article mention them? If not then what are they doing in the picture?

what does "like a grain of sand" mean?

The text describing the history of the oblea suggests the word may come from the word for a long and narrow bread that "was sold like a grain of sand to be served at the end of the meal and dipped in wine." I'm completely at a loss as to what this may mean. I wonder if it may be a translation error, maybe direct translation of a figure of speech? Ribarnica (talk) 16:21, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
