dam

[edit]

I'm new to Wikipedia and I'm not sure how to direct my comments to the right person. In the article on Odell Lake, it is listed as being a natural lake with dam. However, unless one has been built very recently, there is no dam. Instead, as noted in the body of the article, its content is retained by the moraine forming the southeastern shoreline, and it is through this moraine that Odell Creek flows out. I would appreciate someone responding to let me know whether this comment reaches anyone and to help me understand how to comment in the future. Thanks. By all means, please correct the article. If you know of a reliable source for the information, please add that to the article as well. Don't worry if you don't get the formatting details quite right: someone will be along soon to straighten it out. —EncMstr (talk) 17:10, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Would a link to Odell Lake (video game) be appropriate here? That article says that it was based on this lake, so sort of a 'local boy done good' style of thing...? DLWylie (talk) 03:31, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
