Two different teams?
[edit]I don't see any evidence that the current team is in any way a direct link to the former New York-Penn League team. Should probably be separated into two separate articles, no? Assuming that the current team is even notable enough for its own article - most teams in the NYCBL don't have their own articles, and the vast majority of this article is about the former NYP team. I believe they should be split, but would be good to have further feedback from Wikipedia:WikiProject Baseball. Echoedmyron (talk) 00:05, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- Other than using the moniker, the current team is totally separate. The former team was professional and the new team is not. The new collegiate league team should have its own aritcle. It is common for collegiate teams to adopt former minor league team names and in each case, they need to be separate.Skilgis1900 (talk) 06:30, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
