Is there not a courtesy requirement that people at least google the topics of articles when in doubt as to how suitable for inclusion they are? --Paularblaster (talk) 08:37, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Checking online reveals a couple of "Czech Grammy Awards" - presumably that would count towards the perceived "importance" or "notability" of the band. --Paularblaster (talk) 08:49, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

And meets criteria 5 and 6 of WP:BAND. But that should surely be enough of this. --Paularblaster (talk) 13:55, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Ondřej Havelka and his Melody Makers is a well known and established Czech jazz revival band. They meet the criteria for WP:BAND (e. g. publish at EMI) and the speedy tag was totally incorrect. Here are several sources in Czech language: [1], [2], [3]. The first version was unreferenced and the nominator (User:Eeekster) didn't bother to check his/her decision with Google Search. Thanks to Paularblaster for this useful article. --Vejvančický (talk) 06:40, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
