Verification of existence[edit]

Is there some way to verify this was an actual operation outside of references to comics? Shrimpboater (talk) 03:20, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Now that this no longer states that the operation occurred during the Korean War, my main issue is resolved (because there is a clear reference with the new article). Though, the article doesn't explicitly call it Operation Hedge-Hop. Shrimpboater (talk) 03:40, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

OK, actually my concern about it not explicitly calling it Operation Hedge-Hop is valid. I think this article should actually be titled "Augsburg Raid Hedge-Hoppers" or something similar, but do not know how to change the title. See: https://www.warandson.co.uk/war-memorabilia-history/40-the-augsburg-raid-hedge-hop-men-honoured-by-v-c.html this has the clipping in citation 4. It seems the comic is just performing a renaming?
