Amazonassynod in October 2019 in Rome

In October 2019, most of bishops at Amazonassynod said, female deacons should be allowed in Roman Catholic church.

Byzantine-era mosaics

The article itself indicates it is only speculation that, "the deaconesses, who make up most of the women mentioned in the inscriptions...could have been nuns..." --Zeamays (talk) 14:42, 23 November 2021 (UTC)

In response to this after you have initiated discussion on my personal talk page, we may leave the speculative suggestions out in this instance. However, according to this very article the title "minister" can refer to deacons, priests, and bishops; in source given from Haaretz, while referencing female ministers it only provides them as deacons which also deems any priestly or episcopal office as speculative too (therefore clarifying its need for removal). Therefore, it would be counter-intuitive and false to suggest any priesthood or episcopacy on the grounds of that source, and the text should state "diaconal ministers." - TheLionHasSeen (talk) 20:24, 23 November 2021 (UTC)

Seventh-day Adventist section

As someone noted, "This article is humongous." Unfortunately, I have just added to it with material in the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) section. In fact, there is more that I could contribute there. This leads me to propose a separate article for SDAs with a link to the separate piece and a short summary here. This would match the approach for several faith groups, e.g., Methodists. Please give me feedback on the idea. Wctrenchard (talk) 02:09, 11 July 2022 (UTC)

Move discussion in progress

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Priestess which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 00:02, 26 August 2023 (UTC)
