In order for a farm to be labelled as organic are there any difference in how the animals were treated prior to death?

The part about Dakota Organic Beef sounds like an advertisement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.61.86.230 (talk) 03:01, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This section " Some American beef producers are expanding into the organic beef niche by exporting boxed beef from South America. While this is in technical accordance with the rules of the National Organic Program, it does not follow the spiritual status quo of the American organic movement." Is oddly worded. I wasn't aware the American organic movement had a "spiritual status quo." I can think of better phrasing, but referenced would be helpful here as well. --Sulyliz (talk) 18:40, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removed entire section about Imported Beef as this was nothing but someones Opinion and not facts. -Lee — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.184.186.246 (talk) 04:29, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
