Page move
[edit]I'm moving this page from United States Senate Pages to United States Senate Page, since Wikipedia style is to have article titles singular, if possible (see also United States House of Representatives Page). Please let me know if you have any questions. — Knowledge Seeker দ 07:59, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
Formal Tone
[edit]This article looks like it's been written in a formal tone to me, and I've read over it numerous times. I'm removing the formal tone tag.
- Thanks for doing that. I had kindof thought so too, but had written too much of it to feel confortable removing the tab. eric 00:41, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
Notable Pages
[edit]I removed the section on notable pages as nobody has provided the requested citations. eric 02:04, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
I removed Tiger Woods from the Notable Page Section. This has been discussed on the House Page area. Also, I added "Senate" to the former Page section as to avoid confusion with the House Page Program. --Robertff (talk) 18:39, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
Curfew
[edit]As a former participant in the program, I am almost positive that the curfew is 10:00/11:00 (not 9:00/10:00). Unless I hear something here I will change it back. meamemg 23:26, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
Because of new curfew laws in D.C. It has been changed to 9:00/10:00.
Vandalism
[edit]It seems this page is the target of some vandalism lately. There's a long string of j's within the article now. Recent alterations to the article did remove other types of vandalism but left this string intact. Perhaps removal of the string is appropiate. - 145.97.196.88 (talk) 08:25, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
Washington Metro
[edit]What does this sentence mean?
- while Pages are not permitted to bring personal vehicles with them to the District of Columbia, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) has an underground rail system which they are welcome to use.
Isn't everybody in DC welcome to use public transportation? Or is this underground rail system for senate pages only?? --Austrian (talk) 18:37, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- Pages are not allowed to have personal vehicles but the program permits them to use the WMATA systemt in groups. Perhaps a stylistic edit will fix this confusion Mrmewe (talk) 16:18, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
