Zomia (geography)

How many?
Maybe i'm just not understanding, but Nearctic ecozone says there are nine ecozones, and Palearctic ecozone says there are eight; one of these is incorrect? Cheers, LindsayHello 08:04, 4 January 2013 (UTC)
Etymology please
Hi - why "palearctic"? Does it mean something like "old arctic"? Why? Would be nice to have this in the article please --mcld (talk) 15:03, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
- It refers to the "Old World" (Eastern Hemisphere), in contrast to the "New World", Nearctic of the Americas. Similar terms include Paleotropics (Old world tropics) and Neotropics.--Animalparty-- (talk) 07:52, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
