well, i am a palóc, and i have to say i never heard of any of the things that this article claims. why would there be two completely different words in Hungarian for Cumans? Kun as well as palóc? It is a very shaky argument.
also palóc are NOT a minority - we are people who speak Hungarian with a different accent. are people from Newcastle a minority in England because they have a distinguished dialect? the way palócs speak Hungarian is actually quite archaic retaining some of the grammar that was discarded in other Hungarian dialects and in "BBC-Hungarian." There are no personal or place-names that include the word "palóc" while the names of of actual preexistent ethnic groups (Cuman-Kun, Jassic-Jász) or current ethnic groups (Serbian-Rác, Slovak-Tót, Romanian-Oláh etc.) all have personal and/or place-names derived from them.
Claims that certain vowels correspond with Turkish pronunciation are also irrelevant - there are a lot of correspondences between palóc and certain English accents as well.
this article is clearly in its toddler-phase, but for future expansion i would suggest that these aspects be taken into consideration.

I'm a Palóc! My Y-haplogroup is Q-L330>Q-YP1695. The origin of this haplogroup is Mongolian/Turkish and not Slavic. https://www.eupedia.com/europe/Haplogroup_Q_Y-DNA.shtml — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.21.130.236 (talk) 17:36, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The information was challenged (by another editor) as the sourcing was very unclear and some of it seemed to be completely unsourced. Per WP:BRD you should not have reinserted the challenged material until editors reached a consensus on it. I request you self revert that for now. We can then discuss how the page can be improved with properly sourced material. Thanks. Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 13:17, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
User:Zsombor wiki welcome to Wikipedia, and I am guessing you are also the IP editor, yes? You have added quite a lot of unsourced information to the article today. As you are new here and you appear to be editing in good faith, I want to give you a break, but be aware that I or any other editor could revert unsourced information. It is good to see someone trying to improve this article, but Wikipedia articles can only contain sourced information. Could you please be clear about where the information is coming from, and please also take a look at WP:BRD - information that was already reverted should be discussed on the talk page before re-inserting it into the article. Thanks. Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 15:42, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
