There was not extensive rioting. Just a few kids acting out. They weren't acting out because Pandoras Box was closing. Most people hung out on the lawn. The police shut down the Strip because of neighborhood complaints. There were 1000's of kids at the end. Many under curfew age. The multitude roamed the sidewalks and were non buyers to the merchants. The clubs were popular. The socializing outside the clubs and the cruising up and down the Strip became bothersome to the residents. The Strip was closed down by the police but the riot was highly exaggerated.
