Mention alternate name?

I've read multiple sources that reference this virus family as "Papovirus," without the "va." I'm not sure if this is a new consensus, old consensus, or alternate name, but it warrants investigating. It may have to do with the "va" no longer having any meaning; as stated in the article, the "va" was really just another part of "po." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.72.231.186 (talk) 16:52, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
