  • "also acquired cult status" where? a certain area of India, nationally, globally?
Since it is mainly a Tamil film (no RS available for the Telugu dub), it acquired cult status only in Tamil cinema. I'll write that. Kailash29792 (talk) 16:07, 11 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Parasakthi was a popular Tamil play written by Pavalar Balasundaram, a Tamil scholar. What year was it written?
No idea, plus no info available (I believe 1946, bcos that is when En Thangai was staged). Pls give me a few days time. ---- Kailash29792 (talk) 16:07, 11 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Given that I have a long history of film editing on here and remembering how little was once available for old films outside of the Anglosphere, it is genuinely a joy to see an article of this quality for a Tamil film from 1952. In my opinion given that it's a Tamil film and as old as my mother and obviously isn't going to have the level of coverage of something like Mother India or Sholay, I think that with some further work and polishing it has potential at FAC. Great job!♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 17:11, 11 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank u very much sir. I do hope to receive a barnstar for attempting (and of course with success) something that almost no editor on wiki has done till date - making a very old Tamil film a GA, despite the limited information available. Kailash29792 (talk) 17:33, 11 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
