Biography section[edit]

This almost goes without saying, but the Timothy Lukes letter in the bio section should be remade into a proper biography section that cites the letter. Joeyvandernaald (talk) 14:36, 19 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV dispute Life[edit]

This section appears to largely be a direct quotation from a celebration of the subject of this article. In addition to the fact that long quotations should not substitute for an actual wikipedia entry (a point that has already been made about this entry), the tone here is argumentative and repetitive. Take the end of this section, for example:

"Unlike too many self-proclaimed liberal academics, who talk the talk but never walk the walk of embracing real difference, Paul strode through life gathering together one of the most truly diverse gaggle of colleagues, collaborators, or real comrades one has ever seen. From all classes, nationalities, races, identities, religions, occupations, and neighborhoods, a whole host of people would call Paul their friend, and they continued to do so throughout their lives."

It begins with an evidence free assertion about "most liberal academics." And then makes a series of congratuoatory but also evidence free claims about the subject. This entire section needs to be rewritten. BenA (talk) 14:29, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
