Paul Thek, specification on works

[edit]

Hello,

I think it is wonderful that a biography has been written on Paul Thek. He was an amazing artist. I think the article can be strengthened in mentioning some of his influential works. Specifically, Thek's Technological Reliquaries which were displayed in early-mid 60’s and the Tomb.

Also, I feel it would be quite helpful to mention Thek's works and practices in the scope of Pop-Art and Minimalism. In doing so, it would help readers understand how avant-garde Thek’s work was and why, to this date, his work and practice is respected. -C. I just translated the "Leben" section from the German article into English, put it on the main English article, renamed it "Biography" and so on, with a few minor expansions. Also, the intro referred to his "Technological Reliquaries" series as "Meat Pieces," and considering that I've read (somewhere!) he discontinued said series when someone referred to him as the "Meat Man," I hope to believe he'd prefer it as "Technological Reliquaries" too!
