Student accomplishments

[edit]

I have edited the "Theatrics" section to list student accomplishments in what I intend to be an objective manner. Student accomplishments are named in other sections, such as Quiz Bowl, Sports, TSA, Rocketry Club, etc. Where student achievements can be verified by outside sources and presented objectively, I hope to include them. If one views the earliest edits of the PMHS article, one can see that it has always attempted to include this sort of information though the presentation has changed through several edits. If my version of this edit is not to your liking, or if you have any questions about my edit, please let me know your thoughts so we can come to a good compromise. Thank you, I look forward to working with you! Hard-G-Gillian (talk) 19:17, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment

[edit]

It has been requested at WP:WPSCH/A#R that this article be re-assessed. This article has been given a lot of attention, and I have concluded that it passes the B-class criteria as listed at WP:BCLASS, and hence I'm raising the article rating to this level. I'm leaving the existing low importance rating, as I don't quite see enough here for a higher importance at this time. On the content, I don't think this article has any major neutrality issues, and the article is on the whole well referenced. However, avoid words like "interesting", "unusual", and "impressive" which appear in the history/national recognition sections, see WP:PEACOCK and WP:EDITORIAL. External links within the article body should be avoided, except for citations, with appropriate external links in the external links section only - see WP:EL. The history section is of a decent length, but I would suggest breaking up some paragraphs into smaller ones, particularly the second one. The lead needs a great deal of expansion, as it should summaries the article, as well as introduce the topic, see WP:LEAD for guidance. A finished lead should be of two to three paragraphs. You might want to reorganise the article to better follow the standard layout given at WP:WPSCH/AG#S, and add missing sections as appropriate if sources for them can be found. Be aware of WP:WPSCH/AG#WNTI, and avoid adding content listed there. Finally, it would be great if some pictures were taken of the school, uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, and added to the article - if they are obtainable.
