No mention of the Coad/Yourdon OOA/D method?? Also, birth date etc. is missing. No wikilinks. Lupo 10:23, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Definitely In Need of Wikification[edit]

This article is obviously lifted straight from Peter Coad's web site (http://www.pcoad.com) and so does not meet even basic NPOV standards. It needs to be Wikified to be more comprehensive (as well as neutral).

25May06: Confirmed many sentences word-for-word match Coad's website; also confirmed his name as co-author on the 6 books (<Amazon.com). I have changed the wording somewhat, stating "co-author"; also, I confirmed the authorship of 6 books from 1990-1999 and Borland's purchase of TogetherSoft on 15-January-2003 ($185 million). Rather than delete the article, I advocate removing unsupported phrases within (such as "built hundreds of models"). Building 200 models could be 1 per week for 4 solid years, 300 models for 6 years? -Wikid77 06:46, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

10Oct06: I cleaned up some duplication, corrected a detail (Object International was founded in 1986, not in the 90's), restructured a bit, and added some information. I removed the "Trivia" section as it seemed inappropriate under Wikipedia's biography rules. And no, still no birthdate. Doug Pardee 23:24, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It reads like a resume. Needs improvement. RJFJR (talk) 14:04, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I found a birthdate and corrected the education section (the OSU that Coad attended was Oklahoma, not Ohio). Given the fact-checking listed above and the provided references, is there still any lingering concern about NPOV, or can we finally remove that flag? The article looks fairly straightforward to me. Nobody complained otherwise in over two months, so I've removed the POV marker. Doug Pardee (talk) 22:51, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
