Added references[edit]

I've added links and information about some of the better-known of his movie and television screenplays and novels, and deleted the suggestion that his best-known work is the novelization of "Forbidden Planet". If someone can demonstrate that this is true, by all means return it. I would have thought he was best known for his early puzzle mysteries or perhaps The List Of Adrian Messenger but can't prove it one way or the other. "Gentleman Bill"[edit]

I've verified with "Crime Fiction 1749-1980: A Comprehensive Bibliography" (aka "Hubin") that such a title was not written in 1923 by MacDonald. Hubin gives no citation for such a book. However, Hubin also gives no citation for a small number of other titles in the bibliography, and it may be that they all represent non-crime novels. If someone can demonstrate that "Gentleman Bill" is indeed by MacDonald, please do return it. [User:Accounting4Taste|Accounting4Taste]] 23:28, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
