Plano Molding
[edit]I added the link to Plano Molding site to serve as a citation. The address for the company is at the bottom of the site. If this still isn't enough, I can try to find another source. It is indeed in Plano. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Weakmassive (talk • contribs) 17:13, 14 Feb 2007
- I've removed it altogether, because it's spam. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 15:51, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
WSPY
[edit]Would it be proper to link to the WSPY articles (WSPY-FM and WSPY-LP)? My Ubuntu (talk) 01:21, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
- That would be a great addition per (WP:USCITY#Media). I created the Media section but left it for you to fill in. You can see an example of a Media section with Radio at Champaign, Illinois#Media. You could also add a sentence or two to introduce the Media section. Let me know if I can help. --Dkriegls (talk to me!) 01:33, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks! --My Ubuntu (talk) 01:35, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
- How's that? --My Ubuntu (talk) 02:42, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
- Looks great, the only thing I would add is a citation for each station, citing that their relationship to the town. You can probably copy these from the article pages for each station. --Dkriegls (talk to me!) 03:09, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
- What would that look like? Is there an example somewhere that you could point me to so that I have an idea of what to do? Thanks --My Ubuntu (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:06, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- I did the first one for you to mimic. I cited the FCC government bandwidth page that I found was already cited at WSPY-FM#External links. When doing a citation, there are simple templates you can fill out. Go to the edit window of the article (not on talk pages) at the top left corner there is a list of commands. B for bold, I for italics, and so on. The last item is 'Cite'. If you click that, a drop down list that says 'Templates' will appear in the line below. Click the drop down and select the best template. Then just fill in the fields when you have a good citation. Give it a try. --Dkriegls (talk to me!) 20:42, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- How's that? Thanks for all your help! --My Ubuntu (talk) 22:14, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
- Awesome! Nice job. FYI-I put 'Anonymous' when there is not author, but it isn't mandatory. Most other editors just leave it blank. --Dkriegls (talk to me!) 22:21, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
- Another reference job for Plano if you are interested would be a citation for each Notable person. The citation needs to reference their connection to Plano. Remember to make sure the reference meets Wikipedia:Evaluating sources --Dkriegls (talk to me!) 22:35, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
- Done! --My Ubuntu (talk) 14:44, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Refimprove
[edit]Does anyone object to the removal of the {{refimprove}}? I've added references to every section. If no objections are given here within one week (by Sep 7, 2012 at 02:00 AM GMT/UTC), I'll go ahead and remove it. Thanks! — Preceding signed comment added by me, My Ubuntu (talk) 02:06, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
- Okay, this is close enough, I'm removing it. — Preceding signed comment added by me, My Ubuntu (talk) 18:56, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
Assessment
[edit]I would like to see a bit about the geography. Is this a flat/hilly place? Is it elevated? Also, are there area newspapers? I hesitate to give this a C rating, but if these two things could be added, I would feel a bit more comfortable in the rating I just gave.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 04:29, 4 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi everyone! I'm Lucas (My Ubuntu). As a resident of Plano, my editing of this page could be considered a conflict of interest. I have previously tried, and will continue to try, to maintain a neutral point of view. If you feel like I'm not succeeding at that, please make whatever changes you feel necessary and/or leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! —My Ubuntu (talk) 04:12, 7 June 2014 (UTC) |
