I'm looking for the best picture or any informations about the KAF's U-6 (Beaver). It seem that the KAF had 3 aircrafts.
But in 1971, during the viet cong's sapper attack at the Pochentong Air Base,at least 1 Beaver was destroyed. In 1972
at leat 1 Beaver was refurbished with a new engine.

"Paoy Paet" is a pretty faithful attempt by Google to represents the actual Khmer pronunciation. But when the city became known to the West and maps were made, the whole area was part of Thailand so we have "Poipet" which represents the Thai pronunciation. That is how it is now known in English. The Google Maps transliteration is an aberration, I'm not aware of any other English source that uses that spelling and it's likely nobody would know what your were talking/writing about if they heard/saw "Paoy Paet".--William ThweattTalkContribs05:20, 28 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
