The article currently says, "Polaris Reef is a reef, or shallows, in Baffin Bay." and "See also USS Wacissa (AOG-59)"

Baffin Bay is up in the Canadian Artic, so I don't see why there's a banner for WikiProject Maine here. There is another Baffin Bay down in Texas, which isn't Maine :) and it's not the one linked to this article. In reading the article for USS Wacissa, there's no mention of it being scuttled to create a reef. Is Polaris Reef in some other body of water? Was it started by scuttling a ship? If anybody out there is tending to this article, can you please check into these questions/anomalies? PK T(alk) 17:01, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
