This seems to be misnamed. Americans tend to assume that they comprise "modern society"... this should in fact be Polka in American Society? Or perhaps Polka in Modern American Society?

For polka, it's edgy. In any case, this article both read like an essay (complete with conversational prediction of the future) and needs to be updated. Brave Combo has won two Grammys for best polka album... and the Academy has stopped presenting that award. (These are unrelated facts.) - 12:08, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
