Hans Rytger Kricheldorf credits H. N. Stokes with the discovery of (PNCl2)n, and cites an 1896 article by him on the American Chemical Journal. However I have been unable to find mention of the rubber in either that article or in the earlier 1895 article by Stokes on the same journal. This earlier article does mention an "oily residue" with the right formula, but not a solid rubberlike stuff. ¿Que pasa hombre? --Jorge Stolfi (talk) 04:37, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
