I added to and rewrote this article based on other Melbourne and related Wikipedia articles, as well as a couple other internet sources (I'll write up the rest of the citations tomorrow). The previous version seemed to be missing any mention of the Fawkner party occupying the Melbourne site at the same time, for instance. Hopefully the Australian contingent can tidy up any errors I've made - my eyes were getting fairly heavy near the end. David Oberst 11:21, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
