Redirect location[edit]

On 13 November 2009, I edited this article to redirect to Law firm network. Within an hour, User:Colonel Warden changed it to redirect to Bar association instead.

However, these two are not the same thing at all. To quote from Category:Law organizations, a law organization or institution "regulate[s] the practice of law, lawyers, judges, and their effects on the public. The most typical form of law organizations are bar associations and law societies. See also Category:Legal organizations for organizations or institutions of, or related to law."

A professional attorneys association does not regulate the practice of law or lawyers—that is, it's a "legal organization," not a "law organization."

Consequently, I'm reverting this change. Dori ❦ (TalkContribsReview) ❦ 02:43, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
