Hi. The group's other tours are listed on the template, and these pages seem to be notable enough to stay. This page is about the second tour. Could be built up a bit more, but probably no reason to delete. Randy Kryn 13:02, 14 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it does not violate A7. No indication of importance (individuals, animals, organizations, web content, events). A7 states,

"An article about a real person, individual animal(s), organization, web content or organized event that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, with the exception of educational institutions. Past discussions leading to schools being exempt from A7.</ref> This is distinct from verifiability and reliability of sources, and is a lower standard than notability. This criterion applies only to articles about web content and to articles about people, organizations, and individual animals themselves, not to articles about their books, albums, software, or other creative works. This criterion does not apply to species of animals, only to individual animal(s). The criterion does not apply to any article that makes any credible claim of significance or importance even if the claim is not supported by a reliable source or does not qualify on Wikipedia's notability guidelines. The criterion does apply if the claim of significance or importance given is not credible. If the claim's credibility is unclear, you can improve the article yourself, propose deletion, or list the article at articles for deletion."

Specifically, the part of this guideline that applies to this article is, " This criterion applies only to articles about web content and to articles about people, organizations, and individual animals themselves, not to articles about their books, albums, software, or other creative works." The tour is part of the "creative works" of Sade (singer) and Sade (band).

Further more, the article had only existed for less than 5 minutes (created: 12:34, 14 September 2015 - tagged: 12:37, 14 September 2015‎) before being tagged for speedy deletion; has a citation to a reliable news magazine article; documents an important chapter in the life of artist Sade Adu when accusations of strange behavior began to circulate about her during 1985–86. Those accusations led to numerous press interviews and an eventual withdrawal from the public spotlight. Her withdrawal from the public spotlight is a often noted and distinctive attribute that has marked the artists persona for the remainder of her 30 year career; this is part of a series of articles related to Sade (singer) and Sade (band).
