Deakin's involvement with the EP[edit]
If the first two tracks were outtakes from Sung Tongs recording sessions, then Deakin would have had no involvement with them. Baleen Sample credits[edit]
It seems like the idea has been floating around that this song is a solo track by Geologist (perhaps the Pitchfork review of the EP had something to do with it), but actually he was barely involved in its creation beyond having recorded samples for a different project years earlier, a few of which Avey and Deakin used during the creation of the song.
Geologist talked about the track in an Ask Me Anything post on reddit during the promotion of another album:

The credits had previously stated that the other members only appear on tracks 1, 2, and 4. I updated it to credit Avey Tare and Deakin on all four tracks instead. 203.211.106.26 (talk) 05:58, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
