Mojo calls it a "unique kind of various artists tribute album", Record Collector calls it "almost like one of those all-star tribute albums" and MusicOMH flatly denies it is one: "This isn't a tribute album though, as all the songs are brand new compositions by Linda". Considering tribute albums are traditionally other artists covering past compositions by an artist—and while I had "tribute album" in the lead and as a category in previous revisions—I've decided to remove it and categorise it as one of Thompson's albums as she had a hand in all the compositions.
