Should it be written the pseudolikelihood rather than the pseudolikelihood?

As now written, this article doesn't make sense.[edit]

Often a probability density depends on a scalar or vector parameter θ in such a way that

is a different probability distribution for each different value of θ. In such cases the likelihood function is a function of θ with x fixed:

This article says a pseudolikelihood is supposed to approximate the likelihood function. But the function identified as the pseudolikelihood is a function of x, not of θ.
