IP Address tried to blank page

Beware: the IP address/user "173.170.92.152" tried to blank the Manatee Palms Youth Services page. IP address is from Bradenton (where Manatee Palms is) (found out via IP geolocation). POV

I've flagged this article for POV concern, because the vast majority of the article deals with various allegations of abuse and misconduct. See also Talk:Manatee Palms Youth Services#POV, which is related. cmadler (talk) 17:35, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I remain concerned about the neutrality of this article. I have looked at all the recent changes and reconsidered, but I still think it has issues. Much of the article deals with various allegations of misconduct. Most (though certainly not all) of the allegations relate to specific individual hospitals that are currently owned by the company, rather than to the company as a whole. This company currently owns 90 hospitals, and detailing out every problem at every hospital doesn't present a fair view of the company. However, problems at the corporate level, including widespread care issues are definitely appropriate. This would include the DOJ investigation, the statement about PSI using 1/3 fewer staff per bed and the problems that can cause, and possibly the shareholder lawsuit. I'm going to try to help the article along a bit in this regard, and not put a POV flag back on it, but I'm still concerned about the picture it paints of this company. cmadler (talk) 20:44, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ten years after comments were left on this talk page, I have updated with verifiable content. I came across this article after working on a BLP, who worked on the series of stories about this company. As I looked at this article, I found inaccurate content, in one instance, citing the Washington Post as reporting, with the reference to a different news organization, that didn't even cite WAPO. Hopefully, I haven't stepped on anyone's toes, but I felt that I should edit this article by adding credible and sourced information.Mollifiednow (talk) 17:56, 13 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
