Why COI?

[edit]

Not sure if this subject is sufficiently notable but maybe it will be soon... in any case the WP:COI tag seems unnecessary... WP:WHYCOI? -- samj inout 17:14, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you look at the article history, it was created by User:Pulzar who is clearly the owner/operator of the station. While this would not be an issue if the article had full independent sourcing, the article does contain many unsourced claims including some relating to its notablity ("one of the higher profile low power radio stations in Christchurch"). dramatic (talk) 20:22, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yup, fair call - let's leave the {{COI}} tag there until citations are added or claims are removed. -- samj inout 05:09, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've significantly modified the article to remove the unsubstantiated claims and propaganda. The station has begun broadcast again today, and as such many of the claims that were present to boost the stations importance even though it wasn't broadcasting have become irrelevant and I have removed them with the aim of making this article balanced. I know that no substantiation of aome of these claims exists (I do know the founders). I have removed the COI tag as this article is now balanced and does not claim any extravagant unsourced claims. altitudinous (talk) 14:55, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
