The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders
[edit]In the case of unit's which begin with "Queen's Own" or such, "The" is being used with the royal title. As such, it has always been "The Queen's Own" as it is a title and not a name.
The rule of thumb from Wikipedia:Naming conventions (definite and indefinite articles at beginning of name) states "If the definite or indefinite article would be capitalized in running text, then include it at the beginning of the page name. Otherwise, do not include it at the beginning of the page name."
From what I know, all of the units use "The Queen's Own". Ng.j 11:52, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
