Origin

[edit]

When did this chart start? Has it been continues since? Was it a spin off of another chart? --Bejnar (talk) 19:00, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop ?

[edit]

I'm currently subscribed to Billboard.biz.
If this is Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, then what is Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop?

Methodology

[edit]

Note that the methodology used for the R&B/Hip-Hop airplay chart is not the same as what Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart used to be. Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs also used to include a sales component from a core set of R&B/hip-hop stores in addition to airplay. To say a song that is No. 1 on the airplay chart does not mean it would have been on the R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart if the old methodology was still being used is not true. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 02:01, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
