Infobox and lead

[edit]
  • Link to music video in the infobox
  • "digitally released as the lead single for her sixth studio album Yo (2019) on 27 September 2018" → "digitally released on 27 September 2018 as the lead single from her sixth studio album, Yo (2019)"
  • "A ballad, "Ra" lyrically" → "A ballad, the song lyrically"
  • Target female's empowerment → Women's empowerment
  • "Upon its availability, "Ra" was met with generally positive reviews from music critics," → ""Ra" was met with generally positive reviews from music critics upon release," too many commas for the former and include what they praised, i.e "with a number of them pointing out its catchiness" as two of the reviews comment on it as catchy "a grower of a song and one that will get stuck in one's head, over time" does count as such
  • "was uploaded onto the singer's YouTube channel simultaneously with the digital release of "Ra"" → "was uploaded onto the singer's YouTube channel simultaneously with the digital release of the song"
  • "Inna further supported the single" → "Inna further supported the song"
  • "Commercially, it peaked at number 71 in Romania." → "It peaked at number 71 on the Romanian Airplay 100 in 2018."

Background and composition

[edit]
  • "but already on 27 September 2018" → "but released on 27 September 2018"
  • "Two remixes were also released.[6]" → "Two remixes were also released via YouTube.[6]"
  • "topic rarely addressed in Inna's previous work" → "topic that Inna rarely addressed in her previous work"
  • "The track's title also alludes to" → "The track's title alludes to" as the previous sentence doesn't ref the title
  • Change target Mixing (audio) to Audio mixing (recorded music)
  • Change target Mastering (music) to Mastering (audio)
  • "and a departure from the singer's club sound" → "and a departure from Inna's club sound" as you mentioned her name quite a while back
  • Change target Club music to Electronic dance music
  • "writing for Idolator, noted it" → "writing for Idolator, noted that it"

Critical reception

[edit]
  • Retitle to Reception as it mentions the chart listing
  • "and praised the track's touching message" → "and also praised the track's touching message"
  • Think you could add in a fourth critical review as three is a low amount?
Sadly no other (at least relevant) review of the song is available :( Cartoon network freak (talk) 22:25, 17 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Commercially, the song peaked at number 71 in Romania" → "Commercially, the song peaked at number 71 on the Romanian Airplay 100"

Promotion and other usage

[edit]
  • "with two previews posted on her YouTube channel" → "with two previews posted to her YouTube channel"
  • "was finally premiered" → "was ultimately premiered"
  • "posing together or individually in front of a planter wall" → "variating from posing together to individually posing in front of a planter wall"
  • Change target Director of photography to Cinematographer
  • "Andra Manea received credits as" → "Andra Manea was credited as"
  • "A making-of video of "Ra" was released" → "A video showing the making of "Ra" was released"
  • "especially as a woman." Punctation should be outside of quote for consistency
  • "to that of Inna's "No Help" (2018)" → "to that of Inna's track "No Help" (2018)" specify so we understand the comparison
  • "Inna deliverd a live performance" → "Inna delivered a live performance"
  • "and for Mexican TV television" → "and performed it on Mexican TV television"
  • "2018[19] among other endeavours in Mexico.[20]" → "2018,[19] among other endeavours in Mexico.[20]"

References

[edit]
  • Not all of these are archived like they should be
The archiving tool is not working at the moment, I could do the archiving when it'll function again. Cartoon network freak (talk) 22:26, 17 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Change YouTube references to simply YouTube rather than Via
  • WikiLink iTunes Store on the fourth ref instead of fifth
  • Refs 2 and 6 should both either have CelebMix italicized or not

Final comments and verdict

[edit]

Good work on this, just needs to be improved somewhat then it'll be passed. Till then, I'll put this  On hold. Also, you need a credits and personnel section which can be created as they are numerous songwriters and producers, plus you know who mixed and mastered it. Plus the article would be better with an image included; I'm thinking you could add one of Inna to the left of the opening section with relevant text. --Kyle Peake (talk) 09:39, 16 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Kyle Peake: Hi and thanks for another review! I have done all your suggestions, except where commented. I have also added a credits section, but not an extra image. That'll be too much since we already have the cover and the sample squeezed into a pretty short article. Best regards; Cartoon network freak (talk) 22:32, 17 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Cartoon network freak: The GA criteria says audio as well as images for "when it's appropriate" so I will pass this once a issue I just spotted is resolved - for various in release history, cite multiple countries in the ref like "Deep in Love". This leads to the original release date in various under November 2018, so cite GB and US instead. Kyle Peake (talk) 05:36, 18 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Cartoon network freak: Great job, I will now gladly  Pass this! --Kyle Peake (talk) 06:24, 18 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Cartoon network freak: Looked on the iTunes sources and the song has been stylized in all caps outside of Romania; mentioned this now. --Kyle Peake (talk) 06:31, 18 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
