I came looking for extra information on the Ralfe Band, years active, releases etc but they didn't have a page. I believe Ralfe Band are noteworthy, they've been reviewed by NME, the late John Peel was a fan, they were personally selected to play Glastonbury by Emily Eavis, they've appeared on TV, and they play a song as an extra on The Mighty Boosh DVD.

Therefore, I believe they meet points 1, 4 and 5 of the musical notability guidelines.

You have no sources to back up what you say. I can find nothing to verify any of this. Realkyhick 17:38, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Having said all that, I went and found some sources myself: a BBC interview and a review of Women of Japan. These should qualify as independent sources. Bear in mind for the future that the original author should be the one that provides sources such as these; the author shouldn't depend on others to do the legwork for him. If at least a few sources aren't provided at the beginning, the article faces possible deletion. I found these articles doing a simple Google search, by the way. something is amiss

[edit]

something is amiss in the following sentence: "Another award followed for Oly Ralfe’s film ‘The Ballad of AJ Weberman’, a feature documentary about the notorious Bob Dylan obsessive and pioneer of ‘garbology’." I don't know the original writer's intent so I'm not sure how to fix it. PurpleChez (talk) 21:31, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
