The first two references (#2 and #6) I checked on this article don't support the statements that refer to them. #2, regarding genetic susceptibility to alcoholism among papuans is in fact contradicted by the reference. #6 makes no mention of whatsoever of raskol gangs, cannibalism, or piracy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.168.88.155 (talk) 15:48, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Without a reference, it doesn't seem reasonable to compare a type of of organised crime gang to an independence movement in a neighbouring country. The suggestion that a political group is primarily criminal in nature without evidence implies a political opposition to that group that is not appropriate for this article to take. If there are relevant comparisons between the two groups they should be properly explained and referenced. 49.178.27.219 (talk) 06:03, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. I can not in good faith see why this section was added other than as low effort trolling or as a means to spread political disinformation/propoganda. I therefore removed it. I don't think such a controversial comparison should be in the article untill a proper explanation is provided and backed with sources. If the original editor or anyone else disagrees, please feel free to let me know and explain. --The abelian fox (talk) 19:02, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
