Unverified quoted material

[edit]

I looked at the original text (translated, in my copy of Art in Theory) and I can't find the passage "They also believed art should accompany man through all parts of his life: "at the workbench, at the office, at work, at rest, and at leisure; work days and holidays, at home and on the road, so that the flame of life does not go out in man." It is not sourced. Perhaps a reference to the original Russian? Recommend attribution or deletion. Aolivex (talk) 01:36, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Removed this un-cited material: 'They also believed art should accompany man through all parts of his life: "at the workbench, at the office, at work, at rest, and at leisure; work days and holidays, at home and on the road, so that the flame of life does not go out in man."' Would a publication date help?

Is 1920 the correct date? == Vernon White (talk) 00:14, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is correct. Reference added. Aolivex (talk) 01:36, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The link needs to be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.41.125.155 (talk) 18:34, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Link removed; replaced by reference to published source. Published source now needs an ISBN number. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aolivex (talkcontribs) 01:19, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
