This article is not well researched. The school was saved from closure by a group of parents who formed the school council. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Apple9595 (talkcontribs) 22:45, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

This page reads as if it was written by the Board itself, even the members of the senior staff couldn’t have come up with this drivel. The stabbing incident needs to be addressed because it paints the school in a bad light. The case was isolated and the circumstances very unique.

There are too many issues surrounding the departure of staff and, on the whole, I do not think that it is appropriate to discuss these on an individual basis. A number of staff left at the end of 2006 on account that the Business/Economics and Geography departments were overstaffed. The departure of the executive staff (Headmaster and both deputies) is an issue on which further light needs to be shed.

Scandals

[edit]

Why have the scandals been eliminated from this page. History should not be forgotten. All mentions of previous bullying problems which eventually culminated in a stabbing have been removed, people who want to find out about the school would have a strong interest in knowing some of this information.

There should also be an addition about recent changes in the school, concerning building works, scandals with many of the teachers leaving and being fired, etc.

May I suggest that you not adjust the Wikipedia article to include obvious commercial advertising, especially if you are not prepared to register with Wikipedia and sign off on your changes to this article. Masalai 13:43, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My I further suggest that if you are a disgruntled former associate of the school, in whatever context, that you refrain from making blatantly biased and midless comments about the nature of this school. To do so would be childish, don't you think Masalia? Possum2? 10:04, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mr. Masalai, obviously you have some sort of agenda in presenting SCECGS in an unfavourable light. Who are you? Are you too afraid to accept that perhaps your experience with SCECGS was bad and feel uncomfortable talking about it? If so, grow up, and don't take out your anger on a internet site which lacks credibility as a reliable source, because biased pricks like you spend their whole lives editing articles for personal satisfaction.Wikiandy 12:35, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If Masalai, or any other reader who cared enough, wanted to take issue with this "article", they could point to the absence of citations. A verifiability challenge would have no difficulty due to the absence of citations - it appears to be opinion / marketing / original research from start to finish. The burden of evidence lies with the writer. Wikipedia has procedures to protect itself from self-promotion by individuals or organisations. SelectSplat (talk) 05:35, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notable alumnae

[edit]

I do not think Andrew Govey belongs in the notable alumnae section. His stated UAI also appears dubious.

Are there now photos of the school as it now -- and a while back -- stands and stood?

[edit]

I have them of other teachers socialising with me and wife evenings and weekends but those are obviously not of wide interest. Masalai (talk) 18:23, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
