Removing small denominations

In May 2013, the text concerning the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was marked as "dubious" with the following comment: "One percent of the total population would be about 100,000. LDS falls well short of this and should be rm unless we're going to list dozens of churches that meet a much lower threshhold."

First, this does not make it "dubious" per Wikipedia's definition of the term.

Second, none of the three "Other Christian Denominations" shown today meets the threshold set by the commenter; if that threshold were accepted, the entire section would be removed. I submit that neither that threshold nor the section's removal is desirable.

Third, I submit that a list of churches would not be an inherently bad thing provided that they are backed by references like the existing three are. Otherwise, yes, things could get out of control. Mkpaquette (talk) 14:17, 5 July 2013 (UTC)

There are indeed, thousands of churches with populations lower than 1%. This is why they shouldn't be mentioned explicitly. It is essentially WP:SPAM & WP:BOOSTER for small churches. Like saying that "Sam's butcher shop operates in LeShand." I will modify section. Student7 (talk) 00:14, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

Undue

80-90% of Haitians are either Catholic, Voudou or both. A small remainder are Protestant; very tiny remnants are Bai'Hai or Jewish. Yet all subsections are nearly identical in length. Less work should be placed upon developing what is now WP:UNDUE size for the small, nearly non-existent sects, and more on the largest ones. Student7 (talk) 19:03, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

Hinduism

I think the Hinduism section should be removed. There's no information in the section, and the linked section has no information about Haiti. The section serves no purpose. I don't want to make the edit because I don't have a Wikipedia account. 144.89.84.222 (talk) 23:23, 17 November 2015 (UTC)

Agree. I rm it. Student7 (talk) 19:18, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
