Notability review

[edit]

This article references three sources, [1], [2], [3], at least two are reliable, independent and non-trivial.

The first source is an article in Strings Magazine, a monthly print magazine for the string musician community [4] with an accompanying online site AllThingsStrings.com. It has editorial review [5]. The referenced article was published in print on December 2007 issue [6]. It is assumed that the circulation is national.

The second source is an article in blog post of Echoes (radio program) [7], a daily two-hour music program, distributed by Public Radio International and broadcast on 130 stations per [8] and [9]. The genres covered are: acoustic, electronic, jazz, space, avant-garde, rock [10], ambient, space, electronica, new age [11]. The program features artist interviews and plays live and studio recordings. The online blog is the program's online presence. In addition to the online article, Jones was interviewed on air on September 21, 2009 [12]. The radio program listed Jones work on their 2006 and 2009 top 25 essential albums [13], [14].

The third source is reliable and independent, but I am not sure if it is non-trivial. As a minimum, it establishes her recent 2013 release and her record label.

The Strings Magazine and The Echoes Blog are noteworthy and meet the non-trivial, reliable and independent test of Wikipedia:Notability_(music), criteria 1, section "Criteria for musicians and ensembles".

If there are no objections, I will remove the Notability tag ? Second opinions are welcomed. Bammesk (talk) 19:34, 26 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
