Restored previous version
[edit]Restored previous version and removed agenda-driven editorialising per WP:OR. Can the user (who has also been edit-warring on the secular humanism page) please stop inserting references to his PhD into the article, thanks (Retired User:L.R. Name
[edit]All other sources I can find spell his name Rifa’a al-Tahtawi (including the ones referred to on this page). I presume the 'at' in his name here is a typo? AstroMark (talk) 15:31, 4 February 2024 (UTC)
- It’s not a mistake. The ط in الطهطاوي is a sun letter— the ل is not pronounced. إيان (talk) 21:59, 4 February 2024 (UTC)
