Re: merger[edit]

I agree we have 2 different Shapiros here. Though perhaps confusion is understandable given that both were called "Robert", both were called "Shapiro", both were chemists, and both born 1935! The title of the other page Robert Shapiro (chemist) is therefore ambiguous - it could apply to either of these people! I think there should be a note on the top of the other page: "Not to be confused with the chemist Robert H. Shapiro who discovered the Shapiro reaction." And on this one "Not to be confused with the chemist Robert Shapiro, known for work on the origin of life." Kalidasa 777 (talk) 08:28, 1 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
