Notability[edit]
Sbalfour, I found this page while doing New Page Curation. I've had a quick look for references supporting the notability of this apothecary, and I didn't find anything on Google Books. Can you find two reliable sources that discuss him in detail? Otherwise, I'd rather keep the redirect that we had previously. --Slashme (talk) 08:40, 5 February 2019 (UTC)
- The redirect is factually incorrect, since it points to the wrong person, when there IS a person with this name, even though he's not notable enough to have an article here. I'm actually fine with deleting the page, but I'm not fine with a misleading redirect. I'm working actively on the Rene-Robert Cavelier de La Salle page and its many inaccuracies, among them a bevy of redirects from other spellings of his name, some of which represent real persons other than him.
