How did Bliss come by his wealth?[edit]
From the article Bliss spent most of his career as a diplomat. Did such a job pay him enough to do things like create Dumbarton Oaks and live abroad while the work was being done? WithGLEE (talk) 16:29, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
- He born in a healty family for sure, but I suppose most of the money involved in D.O., art, and stuff like that was from the wife, she was really rich, he already left abroad career when D.O. started, he was working for the Secretary of Sate in DC during that time.--95.251.134.38 (talk) 22:51, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
