Removed the extrodinarly long bio on the mayor. The article is about rockwall, not Bill Cecil —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.6.51.72 (talk) 14:22, 27 July 2010 (UTC) its awesome —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.70.170.255 (talk) 15:18, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Original occupants"

[edit]

The History section states: "The area of Rockwall was originally occupied by Caddo Indians." Anthropologically, this makes no sense. We know that ethnic groups have historically moved from place to place throughout history and prehistory.Landroo (talk) 09:51, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm, I see your point, but I don't 100% agree. The Caddo article does mention that these Native Americans inhabited what is now East Texas, so how do we know they weren't the first settlers? At best, I would suggest perhaps a Citation Needed tag? -P shadoh (talk) 23:37, 10 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like @Paul H.: made some very nice edits with supporting references. Thanks, Paul! -P shadoh (talk) 15:08, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Demographics

[edit]

I noticed the demographics section is based on the 2000 census, however the town more than doubled in size between then and the 2010 census. Why is that data not used? 66.193.250.244 (talk) 15:58, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
